Research
I am interested in synthetic biology and metabolic engineering, for the biosynthesis of natural and novel molecules. My current Ph.D. research focuses on the heterologous expression and engineering of fungal polyketide synthases to expand its chemical diversity. During my stay here, I am keen to expand my knowledge of enzyme structure and design principles to better inform my efforts in producing valuable natural and novel products.
