Research
Lucas Grobon is an Alfred Werner Scholar pursuing his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at EPFL. Under the supervision of Dr. Peter Winegar in the Keasling laboratory, his master thesis focuses on achieving scalable and sustainable microbial biosynthesis of therapeutically relevant triterpene-derived plant natural products. His work integrates synthetic biology and metabolic engineering to optimize pathways for bioactive compound production.
