Research
My research interests center on metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, and enzyme engineering for the production of new-to-nature biopolymers. I am currently interested in engineering polyketide synthases to enable the biosynthesis of polyhydroxyalkanoates with expanded structural diversity and their material properties. Through PKS engineering and pathway optimization, I aim to develop versatile microbial platforms for next-generation polyesters.
