Biosynthetic Artemisinin Production

Transcriptomics

Research Summary

Isoprenoids compose the largest class of natural compounds. They are used in numerous commerical applications including fragrances and flavors, antifungal and antimicrobial agents, and even pharmaceutical products. I use microarrays to study the transcriptomic response to the production of isoprenoids in E. coli.
